The awards recognize significant places along the Erie Canalway where people have come together to preserve and share the canal’s heritage or make part of the Corridor a vibrant place to live, work or visit. 2020 honorees are the Gateway Harbor of the Tonawandas, Erie Canal Heritage Park at Port Byron, and the Port of Newark.
