EDR is seeking candidates for internships/co-ops within our Engineering practice area in our Syracuse and Rochester, NY offices.
The Engineering Practice Area at EDR is a dynamic, driven team that works on a diverse set of projects across the Northeastern United States. Our areas of focus include:
- Municipal water and wastewater (pipeline, pumping, and treatment)
- Solid waste
- Energy
- Stormwater
- Site Development
Engineering Services include all phases of projects, from planning/evaluations/studies, through design and administering construction of civil and environmental projects. You will have opportunities to visit our project sites, interface with Owners and Operators, learn from licensed Professional Engineers and gain a deeper understanding of an engineer’s responsibilities.
Responsibilities of an internship/co-op will include, learning the responsibilities of an engineer, incorporating academic knowledge into hands-on work, performing basic designs, developing detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment and fulfilling administrative duties around the office. Qualified candidates will be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
Interns will be compensated at an anticipated rate of $20 – $22 per hour commensurate with experience. EDR reserves the right to pay outside of the target range based on an individual’s education, credentials, skill level and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity, geographic location, and business needs.
