For those interested in all things “green infrastructure” (and who isn’t?), check out the Fall 2015 edition of ClearWaters, the New York Water Environment Association’s (NYWEA’s) quarterly publication. As always, it’s packed with great information about stormwater management and wastewater treatment – but this edition also features a summary of NYWEA’s training session that EDR staff assisted with at RIT about the importance of maintaining green infrastructure. EDR’s Jo Anne Gagliano and Greg Liberman (chair) have been very active on NYWEA’s Stormwater Management Task Force in recent years, and were proud to host the training session alongside our project partners at RIT and Monroe County DES. EDR landscape architects Dave Prizzi, Doug Bracket, Andy Britton and Christy Conley played key roles during an afternoon field trip focused on RIT green infrastructure practices, many of which were designed by EDR.
EDR would like to congratulate our partners at NYWEA, RIT and Monroe County DES for a great event. For more information about NYWEA and ClearWaters check out: http://nywea.org/clearwaters/default.cfm.
