EDR provided comprehensive site-civil engineering, environmental analyses and permitting support for the approximately 2-mile-long 115kV HF Transmission Line Rebuild project that connects Fishkill Plains and East Fishkill Substations in Dutchess County, New York. EDR’s responsibilities included environmental studies, wetland permitting, Part-102 Report, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development, and development of Environmental Management and Construction Plans (EM&CPs). EM&CPs for the project included erosion and sediment controls, pole and material laydown areas, pulling sites, construction entrances, wetland matting locations, access routes, and associated details. Additionally, EDR developed a pervious reinforced turf access road detail that is used to provide permanent stabilized access for routine maintenance.
