The proposed Galloo Island Wind Project is a unique wind energy facility, located on an island in Lake Ontario in Jefferson County, NY. EDR congratulates Apex Clean Energy on recently filing the Preliminary Scoping Statement (PSS) for the Galloo Island Wind Energy Facility, which was filed with the New York State Board on Electric Generation Siting and the Environment (Siting Board) on June 6, 2016. EDR prepared the PSS on behalf of Apex Clean Energy, and the filing of this document represents a significant milestone for our client. The PSS contains a description of the proposed Facility and the proposed studies to evaluate potential environmental impacts, the results of which ultimately will be included in the project’s Article 10 Application. A copy of the PSS can be viewed on the online case record maintained by the Siting Board here. We are excited to see this unique project moving forward in the Article 10 permitting process!
