Gordon Perkins spoke last week at the Southern New England Offshore Wind Energy Science Forum at The University of Rhode Island. Gordon spoke about research and advancements made in the field of visual impact assessment since the construction of America’s first offshore windfarm, The Block Island Wind Farm. It was a great opportunity for stakeholders, regulators, and developers to review hard science on a constructed project. EDR looks forward to more opportunities to be a part of follow up research, in order to continue providing sound science in this field.
