We’ve had a very busy fall season this year with plenty of great projects – perhaps none with a higher profile than our work on the New York State Fairgrounds! EDR’s landscape architects and cultural resource analysts have been hard at work assisting MJ Engineering and the New York State Office of General Services on a number of new designs throughout the Fairgrounds. We are assisting with a new feature at the Fair called the “New York Experience,” rehabilitating Gate 1 and Chevy Court, and creating a new Midway… no small task! We have also been working on Fairground signage standards, cultural resource analyses, and contributing to the overall master plan for the Fairgrounds. We can’t wait to see it come to fruition… and to tour the finished product with a basket of bacon corn dogs and funnel cakes.
